LOST SOUL: An Evening of Vinyl Discovery at ‘Record Store’
Drop by to experience Seattle Art Museum’s storefront installation ‘Record Store’ this Thursday at “LOST SOUL,” an evening of vinyl discovery and exploration. We will collectively browse and build a timeline of records from the 60s, 70s and 80s by digging and plucking from the crates assembled by storied Seattle vinyl collectors. We’ll also imbibe, nosh, conversate and groove: all the things you’re supposed to do when a record’s spinning. DJs 100proof and Vital will be on hand to mix selections from the collection. You will be on hand to get down.
Don’t miss a truly unique, interactive installation and the chance to re/discover vibrant artifacts. Bring friends, an eye for liner notes, and your party hat. See you there.
dj100proof: 6:30-7:30
DJ Vital: 7:30-9
